THERE IN GAZA
They lost everything—except their will to learn and dream.
Synopsis
Set against the backdrop of Gaza’s ongoing destruction, There in Gaza follows Karam, a 20-year-old teacher who builds a makeshift “School of Hope” to help children reclaim their voices through English and poetry.
As we journey through the lives of Maram, Wafa, and Yazan—each scarred by unimaginable loss—the film offers a raw, immersive portrait of youth clinging to dignity, education, and life itself amidst chaos.
Intimate, urgent, and profoundly human, this documentary is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of learning in the face of war.
