A son of a famed boxer, traverses Canada, Congo, and Luxembourg to uncover the sociocultural and personal history of a group of African boxers who fueled Luxembourg's global boxing prominence during the 60s and 70s.
Synopsis
During the 60s and 70s Luxembourg has witness a Golden Age in the sport of boxing. That Golden Age was fed by local as well as foreign boxers. Amongst them a group of boxers coming from Africa known as the Zaïre Connection. Clément Tshinza, Marc Mabenga, Kabassu have started a movement that impacted the sport, allowing Luxembourg to thrive globally. Alain Tshinza, the narrator and son of a boxer, is travelling across Canada, Congo and Luxembourg on a mission to explore a story that is as much historical, sociocultural and personal.
